Infosys advances on WalMart deal

The scrip pared almost all its gains to end flat at Rs 2,383. The counter has clocked volumes of 231,429 shares as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of 100,377 shares on the BSE.

Infosys is up following the news that three Indian IT companies, Infosys Technologies, Cognizant Technology Solutions and UST Global have bagged a Rs 2,750 crore WalMart deal.

The stock opened at Rs 2,377 and zoomed to a high of Rs 2,411, up 1.5% from its previous close. The stock is now trading at Rs 2,395. The counter has clocked volumes of 56,461 shares as compared to the two-week dailay average traded volumes of 100,377 shares on the BSE.
