<b>Infosys impact:</b> Sensex surges 253pts

The Sensex is now up 253 points at 13,367.

Satyam has zoomed 6% to Rs 472. Wipro has soared over 4% to Rs 563. Infosys and TCS have surged around 3.5% each to Rs 2,117 and Rs 1,243, respectively.

Tata Steel has rallied 3.5% to Rs 513. SBI has advanced over 3% to Rs 999. Bajaj Auto and Reliance Communications have added around 2.5% each to Rs 2,410 and Rs 419, respectively.

ICICI Bank, Ranbaxy, Bharti Airtel and ITC are the other major gainers.

Out of 2,073 stocks traded so far, 1,476 have advanced, 544 have declined and 53 are unchanged.
