Infrastructure stocks spurt on higher allocation

Infrastructure stocks have spurted, up 2-3% in intra-day deals on allocation Rs 19,894 crore for road transport in the Union Budget 2010-11.

Subhash Projects, Gammon Infrastructure, Madhucon Projects, MSK Projects and Lanco Infratech have gained more than 2% each on the BSE.

The BSE Capital goods index is up almost 1% at 13,443 as compared to 0.6% rise in the Sensex.

Subhash Projects is the largest gainer, and has surged 5% to Rs 143, followed by Gammon Infrastructure and Madhucon Projects up 2% each at Rs 25 and Rs 158,  respectively.

Realty stocks are also up on interest subvention of low cost housing. DLF, Omaxe, HDIL, Unitech and HDIL are up 1-3% each.
