Insecticides (India) has surged 7% to Rs 715 after the agrochemicals company said that its board will consider to issue free shares to its equity shareholders.
The board of directors of the company will meet on October 30, 2014 to consider and recommend on issue of bonus shares, Insecticides (India) said in a statement.
The board will also consider and approve the un-audited financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2014, it added.
The stock opened at Rs 711 and touched high of Rs 725 on NSE. A combined around 44,000 shares changed hands on the counter so far on NSE and BSE.
