Domestic institutional investors (DII) and domestic speculator buying has absorbed Foreign Institutional Investors sales. At 1300 hrs, the Instanex FII index was down 0.47% at 193.65, underperforming the Instanex DII 15 portfolio which is down 0.37%, the Sensex is 0.21% lower and Nifty is up 0.11%.
Of the 15 components of the index, eight are down while seven are up. The top losers are Bharti Airtel (-2.46%; weight 13.75%), Sun Pharma (-2.18%; weight 2.08%) and HDFC (-1.70%; weight 11.13%) while the top gainers are ICICI Bank (+2.63%; weight 6.96%) and NTPC (+1.17%; weight 3.33%).
