Interim dividend hopes fuel BPCL

BPCL hit a high of Rs 394 before closing at Rs 390.30, up 0.85 per cent. More than 2.75 lakh shares were traded on the BSE.
The counter rose after the company announced after trading hours on Monday that it will decide on declaring interim dividend at its meeting slated for December 26.
The company's board will consider a proposal for declaration of interim dividend for financial year 2003-04.
Last week, HPCL and IOC had also said that their boards would be considering interim dividend.
