Markets continue to trade in green, albeit off the day's high.
The Sensex is now up 86 points at 1,9992. Nifty is holding the 6K mark - up 23 points at 6,003.
BSE IT and capital goods indices have jumped 1% each to 5,944 and 15,878. Healthcare index is up 0.7% at 5,919.
However, the mid and small-cap indices have underperformed and are trading in the red. The mid-cap indes has dropped 0.7% at 8,098. Small-cap index has slipped 1% to 10,202.
Among the mid-cap losers, Ispat industries and TVS Motors have shed 5-6% each. Redington India, Geekay Finance and GMDC are also in red. Small cap losers include Sagar Cements, Sahara One Media and Force Motors.
Realty stocks continue to slump in the Sensex. DLF has dropped 1.3% to Rs 359. Jaipraaksh Associates and Reliance Infrastructure have slipped 1% each.
Hindalco is the big loser - down 1.3% at Rs 191. ITC, Reliance Communications, Tata Steel and Reliance are down in noon trades.
Meanwhile, Wipro has gained 2.5% at Rs 432.TCS has added 1.7% to Rs 927.
Larsen & Toubro, HDFC, Cipla and Hero Honda are some of the prominent Sensex gainers.
