Itc, Bajaj Auto Gdrs Gain

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) gained 0.75 per cent to 621.19 on July 4, as compared with the previous close at 5:00 PM IST. Among ISDI global depository receipts, three advanced and four lost ground.

The only gainers were ITC (up 1.74 per cent to $17.50), Bajaj Auto (up 0.83 per cent to $12.15) and Hindalco (up 0.65 per cent to $15.60).

The losers were State Bank of India (down 2.27 per cent to $21.50), Reliance (down 0.47 per cent to $14.68), L&T (down 0.47 per cent to $10.60) and Ranbaxy (down 0.24 per cent to $20.55).

The ISDI, which represents the ADRs and GDRs of 15 actively-traded companies continued to rise by 1.76 per cent to 624.40 on July 3 as against its previous close of 613.62, an Instanex Capital release said.

 

The ISDI P/E ratio also rallied further by 1.73 per cent to 12.91 compared with 12.69 previously.

Among the Indian ADRs and GDRs, there were nine gainers, eight losers and 55 ruled steady. Among the ADRs, four advanced and four lost ground.
