ITC GDR rises 6.34%

 The major gainers were ITC (up 6.34 per cent to $21.80 registering volumes of 40,632 GDRs), followed by Ranbaxy (up 5.75 per cent to $25.75 with volumes of 212,097 GDRs) and Reliance (up 2.48 per cent to $24.75 with volumes of 140,350 GDRs). The only loser was Hindalco (down 0.91 per cent to $27.25).

 On December 08, 2003, among ISDI American Depository Receipts stocks, six advanced and two lost ground.

 The ISDI was down 1.15 per cent to 936.48 and was trading at a price to earnings multiple of 18.14 (down by 1.04 per cent).

 The major gainers were Satyam Computers up 6.87 per cent to $23.03 registering volumes of 861,500, followed by HDFC Bank up 6.07 per cent to $27.95 with volumes of 31,500 ADRs and ICICI Bank up 3.64 per cent to $14.82.
