The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) gained 2.20 per cent to 616.57 on July 3 compared with its previous close at 5:00 PM IST.

Among ISDI global depository receipts, four advanced, two lost ground and one remained unchanged.

The only gainers were State Bank of India (up 6.542 per cent to $22), Ranbaxy (up 5.64 per cent to $20.60), Reliance (up 1.03 per cent to $14.75) and L&T (up 0.47 per cent to $10.65).

The only losers were Hindalco (down 2.82 per cent to $15.50) and Bajaj Auto (down 0.82 per cent to $12.05). ITC remained unchanged at $17.20.

ISDI, which represents the ADRs and GDRs of 15 actively-traded companies, rose sharply by 2.10 per cent to 613.62 on July 2 against its previous close of 601.00, an Instanex Capital release said.

 

The ISDI P/E ratio also rallied smartly by 2.01 per cent to 12.69 compared with 12.44 previously. Among the Indian ADRs and GDRs, there were 13 gainers, seven losers and 52 ruled steady.

Among the Indian ADRs, five advanced and three lost ground. The major gainers were HDFC Bank (up 7.61 per cent to $21.20), MTNL (up 6.19 per cent to $5.15) and VSNL (up 3.02 per cent to $5.46) and the losers were Satyam Computer (down 1.40 per cent to $9.85), Infosys (up 0.61 per cent to $53.75) and Dr Reddy
