ITC GDR up 3.23%

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was down 0.68 per cent at 829.24 in early trades in London on Friday at 5.00 pm IST.

Among the global depository receipts (GDRs), two advanced, two ended flat and three lost ground. The gainers were ITC, up 3.23 per cent at $20.12, and SBI, up 1.82 per cent at $22.35.

The losers were Reliance, down 1.74 per cent at $19.80, Ranbaxy, down 0.50 per cent at $19.90, and Hindalco, down 0.45 per cent at $22.00.

On Thursday, the index was down 0.36 per cent at 829.99. Among American depositary receipts (ADRs), one advanced and seven declined.

The gainer was VSNL, up 5.05 per cent to $7.69. The losers were MTNL, down 3.31 per cent at $7.01, Dr Reddy's Laboratories, down 2.76 per cent at $16.90, and Wipro, down 2.38 per cent to $45.60.
