ITC GDRs up to $26.30

The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI), which tracks 15 actively traded Indian depository receipts, shed 1.89 per cent to trade at 1,031.93 in the mid-trading session on Monday.
 
ITC's GDR rose 0.19 per cent to $26.30, registering volume of 1,40,230 receipts. But Bajaj Auto's GDR tumbled 7.76 per cent to $21.40 and L&T's GDR lost 3.09 per cent to $23.50, registering volumes of 96,300 receipts.
 
Reliance Industries GDR shed 2.03 per cent to $29.88, registering volume of 79,572 GDRs. On Friday, the ISDI fell 1.11 per cent to 1,034.44 while the price-earning ratio eased 1.11 per cent to 18.78.
 
Meanwhile, Indian securities listed on the US markets slumped on Friday. Infy, the Infosys Technology ADR, fell $1.34 to $83.13. IBN, the ICICI Bank ADR, slumped 77 cents to $15.17 and Say, the Satyam Computer ADR, dropped $1.08 to $21. Wit, the Wipro ADR, gained 12 cents to $42 and RDY, the Dr Reddy's Labs ADR, gained 40 cents to $28.40.
 
On Friday, the Nasdaq composite fell 8.03 points or 0.4 per cent to 2037.93, the Dow Jones industrial average slipped 45.70 points or 0.4 per cent to 10619.03 and the Standard & Poor's 500 dipped 2.95 points or 0.25 per cent to 1144.11.
