Jain Irrigation up on pulp deal with Coke

Jain Irrigation Systems gained on order win. The stock was up 2.45 per cent to close at Rs 131.70 after the company announced that the company's fruit processing division has formalised and concluded a contract for Rs 30 crore for the supply of mango pulp to Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd, the Indian arm of Coca-Cola, US.
 
The stock in intra-day trades had hit a high of Rs 140 on the BSE. The company's fruit processing division is a major supplier to HCCBPL since the last five years. The company also supplies mango pulp and concentrate to Coca-Cola's bottling operations in different countries.
 
Its current year's supply is 29 per cent more than last year, the company said. The counter attracted impressive volumes of more than 1.97 lakh shares on BSE alone. The company also exports mango, banana, guava and papaya pulp to various customers in 25 different countries around the world.
