Press Trust of India New Delhi
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the March contract lost Rs 60, or 0.46%, to trade at Rs 13,040 per quintal in 10,935 lots.

Prices dropped as traders reduced exposure on expectations of higher output and supplies from the new season crop.

Jeera is a winter crop, sown from October to December and fresh supplies start arriving in February.
