Jeera futures for April fell by Rs 127.50, or 0.93% to Rs 13,527.50 per quintal in 5,688 lots.
At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the March contract declined by Rs 125, or 0.92%, to Rs 13,440 per quintal in 11,466 lots.
Speculators trimming positions largely on hopes of higher output pulled down the jeera prices.
Favourable weather conditions in producing states increased the hopes of higher output.
