Jeera prices rose by Rs 280 to Rs 15,185 per quintal in futures trade today on emergence of buying by traders following pick-up in spot market demand.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, jeera for August delivery rose by Rs 280, or 1.88%, to Rs 15,185 per quintal, with an open interest of 4,926 lots.
