Jeera remains higher, up 0.7% on pick-up in demand

Firm spot market suported the uptrend

Jeera futures for March added Rs 102.50, or 0.75% to Rs 13,690 per quintal in 11,382 lots.

At the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), the April contract traded higher by Rs 92.50, or 0.68% to Rs 13,757.50 per quintal in 5532 lots.

Speculators enlarging their positions, firm spot market trend supported the trade.
