JP Morgan expands India team

JP Morgan continues to expand its equity business in the country as the leading investment bank inducted six new members to its equity and sales team on Wednesday. The company said it was planning to hire more hands.
 
According to JP Morgan, Chintan Maniar has joined the company from ICICI, while Hardik Doshi left Lehman Brothers to join the company.
 
Other appointments include: Sonia Gandhi from Metanoia Consulting and Karina Goswami from Enam. Jitendra Raval and Vinita Muriani are also part of the new team. The team is hired for for JP Morgan's Mumbai office.
 
"This move will assist clients who are seeking to strengthen connections with the Indian market through direct access. The team will continue to be supported by the cash and derivatives product experts in offshore locations," the company said.
