SBI-SG Global Securities Services has appointed Jyoti Rai as head of business development and marketing. With an experience of 14 years in the financial services industry, she has been with the company since last year and takes over the role from Chitra Shringare. “In her new role, Jyoti will focus on domestic growth and also leverage on the global presence of Societe Generale in the FII business,” said chief executive R G Subramanian. SBI –SG is a joint venture between State Bank of India and French lender Societe Generale. It offers custody services, fund accounting and administration, and risk analysis and performance measurement to foreign institutional investors. It is one of seven qualified depositary participants allowed to handle qualified foreign investors.
