Kabli gram up in thin trade

In thin trading, kabli gram prices drifted by Rs 100 per quintal in the wholesale pulses market today on pick-up in retailers demand.

Elsewhere, other commodities prices continued to trade in a narrow range on alternate bouts of trading and settled around previous levels.

Traders said increased demand from retailers against less arrivals mainly pushed up kabli gram small variety prices.

In the national capital, kabli gram small variety rose by Rs 100 to Rs 4,600-6,100 per quintal.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Urad 4,000-4,400, Urad chilka (local) 4,900-5,300, best 5,400-5,900, Dhoya 5,350-5,450, Moong 4,000-5,000, Dal moong chilka local 5,000-5,400, Moong Dhoya local 5,300-5,500 and best quality 5,900-6,100

 

Masoor small 3,050-3,250, bold 3,200-3,450, Dal Masoor local 3,600-3,700, best quality 3,900-4,200, Malka local 3,600-3,650, best 3,750-3,850, Moth 2,200-2,500, Arhar 3,450-3,950, dal arhar dara 5,000-5,400

Gram 2,225-2,250, gram dal (local) 2,500-2,515, best quality 2,600-2,700, besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,190, Rajdhani 1,190, Rajmah chitra Pune 3,400-3,800, China 3,500-4,000, red 3,650-3,750
