Kabli gram weakens on sluggish demand

In restricted activity, kabli gram prices fell by Rs 150 per quintal on the wholesale pulses market today due to sluggish demand at prevailing levels.

Traders attributed the fall in kabli gram small variety prices to sluggish demand at prevailing higher levels. 

In the national capital, kabli gram small variety fell by Rs 150 to Rs 4,100-5,500 per quintal.

Following are today's quotations in Rs per quintal:

Urad 4,150-4,650, Urad chilka (local) 5,050-5,450, best 5,600-5,900, Dhoya 5,550-5,650, Moong 4,250-4,650, Dal moong chilka local 5,300-5,700, Moong Dhoya local 5,600-5,800 and best quality 6,200-6,400

Masoor small 3,200-3,400, bold 3,350-3,600, Dal Masoor local 3,800-3,900, best quality 4,050-4,350, Malka local 3,800-3,850, best 3,950-4,050, Moth 2,800-3,100, Arhar 3,800-3,900, dal arhar dara 5,150-5,550

 

Gram 2,525-2,550, gram dal (local) 2,800-2,815, best quality 2,900-3,000, besan (35 kg) Shakti bhog 1,190, Rajdhani 1,190, Rajmah chitra Pune 3,300-3,700, China 3,400-3,900, red 3,400-3,500
