Kalindee Rail hits ceiling after bagging mega contract

Kalindee Rail Nirman was up 10 per cent hitting the maximum permissible limit for the day. The scrip closed at Rs 187.75 on Thursday as compared to its previous close of Rs 170.70. The upsides at the counter occurred after the company bagged an order from the Indian Railways.
 
The company has received a mega contract from Rail Vikas Nigam (RVNL), valued at Rs 46.79 crore. Kalindee Rail Nirman Engineers is engaged in the manufacture and installation of signaling and telecommunication equipment for the Indian Railways.
 
The company's profit after tax (PAT) for the quarter ended 30 June 2005 was Rs 0.37 crore as compared with its PAT of Rs 0.50 crore in the quarter ended 30 June 2004.
