Shares of Kalpataru Power Transmission were up nearly 7% at Rs 68 after the company announced that it has received fresh orders of over Rs 620 crore.
The first order worth Rs 463 crore from Tamil Nadu Transmission Corporation Ltd is for supply and installation of 171 kms, 400 KV/DC transmission line.
The second order worth Rs 94 crore from HPCL is for installation of 160 kms cross-country LPG pipeline.
The stock opened at Rs 66.05 and touched an intra-day high of Rs 68.30 on the BSE. Over 190,000 shares were traded so far on both the stock exchanges.
