Kalpataru Power Transmission is trading higher by 4% at Rs 264 on the BSE after the company said it has secured new orders of Rs 781 crore.
“The company has secured orders approximately of Rs 594 crore for transmission line projects in international geographies namely Malawi and Kuwait,” Kalpataru Power Transmission said in release.
It also secured a pipeline project of approximately Rs 187 crore from the Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC).
“In the year to date, we have secured orders of around Rs 3,460 crore, this is almost 3 times of order inflow of last year in the same period,” said Mr. Manish Mohnot, managing director of the company.
The stock hit a high of Rs 270 so far and has seen a combined 127,951 shares changed hands on the counter on the BSE and NSE till 10:23 am.
