KCP is trading higher by 6% to Rs 92 on the BSE after the company announced plans to expand capacity of its cement unit in Andhra Pradesh.
“The company has decided to expand the production capacity of its cement unit located at Muktyala, Krishna district Andhra Pradesh, from 1.8 MTPA to 3.5 MTPA with an expected outlay of Rs 400 crore (approximately),” KCP said in a statement.
The stock hit a high of Rs 92.70 on the BSE. A combined 614,627 shares changed hands on the counter on the BSE and NSE.
