KEC hits upper circuit on Rs 110cr orders

KEC ended the day with 5% increase at its upper circuit at Rs 400. The counter clocked a volume of 7,959 shares

RPG group company, KEC International, has hit its 5% upper circuit on winning orders worth Rs 110 crore.

The stock opened 2.5% higher at Rs 390 and slipped to a low of Rs 387. It surged to its 5% upper circuit of Rs 400 and is currently locked at this level. Around 5,035 shares have been traded on the BSE so far with pending buy orders for nearly 1,403 shares at the counter.

The company has received three orders worth Rs 110 crore. Two of the orders worth Rs 77 crore are in Chattisgarh while the third is in Peru, South America. The international order is valued at Rs 33 crore and involves tower supply. The company has entered the South American continent after a decade.
