The Sensex is likely to open on a positive note following positive global cues.
The key level to watch today would be 8,950, above which the bulls are likely to hold the upper-hand. If the index sustains above the 9,000-mark then it is likely to make a dash towards 9,100 today itslef. The downside looks limited today with significant support around 8,780.
The Nifty is likely to face resistance around 2,800-2,825, while find support around 2,730-2,715.
