Kingfisher Airlines takes off on revamping moves

The stock closed at Rs 52, up 1% from its previous close. The counter clocked volumes of 14.86 lakh shares as compared to the two-week daily average traded volumes of 10.90 lakh shares on the BSE.

Kingfisher Airlines has added weight after hiring Seabury Aviation & Aerospace, a US-based company, for advise on restructuring and performance improvement. The stock is trading at Rs 53, stronger by Rs 1 or 3.6%, on the BSE. The shares had opened at Rs 52 and have touched a high of Rs 54 thus far.

Kingfisher Airlines is a part of the UB Group, the brewery and liquor giant.
