KNR Constructions hits new high on Rs 669 crore order win

The stock surged 8% to Rs 521 after the company said that it has bagged a road project worth Rs 669 crore from NHAI.

KNR Constructions has surged 8% to Rs 521 on the NSE after the company said that it has bagged a road project worth Rs 669 crore from National Highway Authority of India (NHAI).

"We have been awarded by National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), orders worth of Rs 669.06 crore for four-laning of a road project in Kerala on EPC mode and to be completed within two years," KNR Constructions said in a regulatory filing.

The stock opened at Rs 502 and touched a new high of Rs 525 on the NSE. A combined 118,655 shares changed hands on the counter on the NSE and BSE.
