KNR Constructions soars 7% on winning Rs 620-cr road projects

KNR Constructions has soared more than 7% to Rs 106 on the Bombay Stock Exchange, after receiving Rs 620-crore road project from GMR Projects Private Limited and GMR Kishangarh Udaipur Ahmedabad Expressways Limited.

“The said project on a design, build, finance, operate and transfer (DBFOT) basis is to augment the existing road on the Kishangarh Udaipur Ahmedabad section of National Highways in the states of Rajasthan and Gujarat on turnkey fixed EPC price basis," the Hyderabad based construction and engineering company said in a filing to the stock exchanges.

A volume of 7,481 shares have changed hands on the counter so far on the NSE and BSE.
