L&T ends up 3% on plans of JV with EADS

The stock ended up 3% at Rs 979. A total of 855,751 stocks were traded on the BSE today.

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has surged 2.5% to Rs 975 after forging a long term partnership with EADS.

The stock opened up Rs 3 at Rs 955 before surging to a high of Rs 992. It touched a low of Rs 955.

Larsen & Toubro has informed BSE through a press release today that will join EADS Defence & Security in India to form a joint venture company. The proposed joint venture is to become the leading Indian Electronics House for defence and security and will aim at design, development and related services in the field of military application.
