The Instanex Skindia DR Index (ISDI) was up 1.06 per cent to 1144.53 on May 17 in early morning trades in the western markets.
 
Among ISDI global depository receipts L&T was up 0.52 per cent to $23.62. The major losers were Reliance, down 3.26 per cent to $24.33 with volume of 2,967 GDRs, Ranbaxy, down 0.88 per cent to $22.95 and ITC, down 0.44 per cent to $33.75 with volume of 10,000 GDRs.
 
The ISDI, representing the GDRs and ADRs of 15 actively-traded companies, firmed up by 1.82 per cent to 1146.77 on May 16 as against 1126.30 on May 13. The ISDI price to earnings ratio also moved up to 18.24 from 17.88, previously.
 
Among ISDI ADRs, seven advanced and one remained unchanged. The major gainers were Infosys, up 4.18 per cent to $62.83, ICICI Bank, up 2.46 per cent to $19.56 with volume of 149,000 ADRs and Dr Reddy's, up 1.96 per cent to $15.58 with volume of 149,100 ADRs.
 
Infosys closed up at $62.83 from $60.31, MTNL at $6.12 from $6.06, Satyam Computer up at $22.43 from $22.14, VSNL at $9.45 from $9.29 and Wipro at $18.93 from $18.67.
