Shares of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) rose 2.4 per cent and hit a fresh 52-week high of Rs 1,396 on the BSE on Monday in intra-day trade ahead of its December 2020 quarter (Q3FY21) results later in the day. The stock of the engineering & construction (E&C) major was trading at its highest level since November 2019.
In the past three months, L&T has outperformed the market by surging nearly 50 per cent, on the back of strong orders flow, as compared to 20 per cent rally recorded by the S&P BSE Sensex.
