Lacklustre day: breadth fairly +ve

The Sensex is exhibiting lacklustre movement and is now down 15 points at 10,085. The index has touched a high of 10,162, and a low of 10,059 so far.

Tata Motors has rallied 4% to Rs 187. DLF has surged 3% to Rs 316.

Reliance Communications has moved up 2.4% to Rs 221. Satyam and Jaiprakash Associates have gained 1.7% each at Rs 166 and Rs 91, respectively.

SBI and ONGC have advanced over 1.5% each to Rs 1,308 and Rs 720, respectively.

Ranbaxy and Grasim are up over 1% each at Rs 220 and Rs 1,245, respectively.

HDFC and ICICI Bank have shed 2.5% each at Rs 1,483 and Rs 461, respectively.

 

Wipro and NTPC have slipped 1.7% each to Rs 245 and Rs 179, respectively.

BHEL has dropped 1.5% to Rs 1,416, and Reliance has declined 1.3% to Rs 1,332.

The market breadth is fairly positive - out of 2,105 stocks traded so far, 1,341 have advanced, 689 have declined and the rest are unchanged.
