The Sensex is exhibiting lacklustre movement and the index is now down 91 points at 14,555.
Maruti has tumbled 4.7% to Rs 611. Sterlite has shed 2.7% at Rs 595, and ACC has dropped 2.5% to Rs 580.
Satyam has plunged 2% to Rs 411. Reliance Communications has declined 1.8% to Rs 405.
HDFC, Mahindra & Mahindra, BHEL and Bharti Airtel are around 1.5% each at Rs 2,325, Rs 560, Rs 1,672 and Rs 797, respectively.
The market breadth is fairly negative - out of 2,269 stocks traded so far, 1,337 have declined, 850 have advanced and 82 are unchanged.
