Lacklustre day: Sensex flat; Bharti down 2%

The Sensex continues to remain flat at 20,222 - up five points.

Ranbaxy has gained 1.8% at Rs 419.

Reliance Energy has advanced 1.5% to Rs 2,166, and Tata Steel has added 1.3% to Rs 918.

DLF and Mahindra & Mahindra are up 1.2% each at Rs 1,022 and Rs 838, respectively. Ambuja Cements is up 1% at Rs 147.

Wipro has plunged 2.7% to Rs 534. Bharti Airtel has shed 2% at Rs 947.

HDFC Bank has slipped 1.4% to Rs 1,720. Bajaj Auto, TCS and Tata Motors are down around 1% each at Rs 2,644, Rs 1,090 and Rs 730, respectively.

Out of 2,854 stocks traded so far, 2,079 have advanced, 735 have declined and 40 are unchanged.
