Lead down 0.8% on weak demand

Prices fell after speculators trimmed their positions

Lead futures for March declined by 95 paise, or 0.83% to Rs 113.85 per kg in 4,497 lots.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the April contract edged lower by 70 paise, or 0.60% to Rs 115.45 per kg in 2,639 lots.

Prices fell after speculators trimmed their positions amid subdued spot market demand.

Weak global trend weighed on lead futures trade here.

On the London Metal Exchange (LME), lead fell 0.1% to $2,115 a tonne.
