Lead futures prices today declined by Rs 1.45 to Rs 104.05 per kg owing to subdued demand from battery makers in the spot market.

At the MCX, lead for delivery in June declined by Rs 1.45, or 1.37%, to Rs 104.05 per kg in business turnover of 3,899 lots.

The June contract shed Rs 1.35, or 1.27%, to Rs 104.85 per kg in 285 lots.

Market analysts said sluggish demand from battery markers in the spot market mainly kept pressure on the lead futures prices.
