Lead prices declined by 0.71% to Rs 118.65 per kg in futures trade today, taking cues from weak global market amid subdued spot demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for July delivery declined by 85 paise, or 0.71%, to Rs 118.65 per kg, with a business turnover of 753 lots.
The August contract was trading lower by the same margin at Rs 119.50 per kg, with an open interest for 125 lots.
Analysts said besides a weakening global trend, subdued trend at the spot markets due to sluggish demand from battery makers led to the fall in lead futures prices here.
