Amid weak trend overseas and subdued domestic demand, lead prices fell 0.14% to Rs 105.45 per kg in the futures market today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, March lead traded lower by 15 paise, or 0.14%, to Rs 105.45 per kg in business turnover of 1,029 lots.

The April delivery is also down by similar margin to trade at Rs 106.85 per kg in a turnover of 106 lots.

Market analysts said besides, a weakening trend at the London Metal Exchange (LME), subdued demand from battery- makers in the domestic spot market, also kept pressure on the lead futures prices here.

Globally, at the LME, lead traded a shade lower at $2,105 per tonne in early trade today.
