Lead futures prices today rose marginally by Rs 0.15, or 0.16 per cent, to Rs 94.30 per kg, on a firming trend at spot markets and pick up in demand.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange counter, the September contract of lead gained Rs 0.15, or 0.16 per cent, to Rs 94.30 per kg, with a business turnover of 67 lots.
The metal contract for delivery in current-month August also inched up by Rs 0.10, or 0.11 per cent, to Rs 93.30 per kg, with a turnover of 605 lots.
Marketmen said besides strong spot demand at the physical markets, a partial recovery in base metals at the London Metal Exchange also supported the upside in lead futures here.
