Lead futures weakened by 0.24% to Rs 105 per kg today on sluggish demand from battery makers in the spot market amid absence of strong cues from global markets.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the April delivery traded lower by 25 paise, or 0.24% to Rs 105 per kg in business turnover of 773 lots.
The May contract shed 25 paise, or 0.23%, to Rs 106.15 per kg in 44 lots.
Market analysts said sluggish demand from battery-makers in the spot market mainly put pressure on the lead futures prices.
