Amid weak trend overseas and subdued domestic demand, lead futures prices fell by 0.14% to Rs 106.35 per kg today.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, lead for delivery in April shed 15 paise, or 0.14%, to Rs 109.15 per kg, with a business turnover of 757 lots.

The May contract lost 10 paise, or 0.09%, to Rs 109.65 per kg, with a turnover of 130 lots.

Analysts said apart from slackened demand from battery- makers at the spot markets, a weak trend in metal at the London Metal Exchange (LME), mainly put pressure on the lead futures here.

At the LME, lead fell 0.3% to $2,085 per tonne.
