LIC HOUSING FINANCE scrip increased 4.43 per cent to close the day at Rs 446.85 on company’s proposed plans to consider a QIP. A meeting of its board of directors is scheduled on June 1, during which the board will consider issuing equity shares on preferential or qualified institutional placements basis.
The stock made an intraday high of Rs 452.8 and a low of Rs 424. A total of 2.57 lakh shares changed hands on Tuesday. The scrip made a 52-week high of Rs 453.75 (May 21, 2009) and a low of Rs 151 (December 02, 2008).
