Long-only alternative investment funds (AIF) outperformed long-short funds in July. The former gave average category returns of 5.1 per cent compared with 1.1 per cent for the latter, shows data from PMS Bazaar.
Of the 32 long-only funds, all except one managed to beat the Nifty50 returns of 0.3 per cent during the month, while nine of the 13 long-short funds beat the benchmark.
