Low density polymers down on reduced offtake

Low density polymer prices traded marginally lower by Rs 0.50 per kg in the local plastic market today due to reduced offtake by plastic bag makers.

Traders said reduced offtake by plastic bag manufacturers against adequate stocks mainly led to the fall in low density polymer prices.

LD No 40 and LD No 400 were down by Rs 0.50 each to Rs 96.50 and Rs 98.50 per kg.
