Low-density polymers strengthen on increased offtake

Low density polymer prices strengthened by rupee one per kg in the local plastic market today.

Traders said increased offtake by plastic bag makers mainly pushed up the prices of low density polymers.

In the national capital, low density (LD) No 40 and LD No 400 polymers strengthened by rupee one each to Rs 95.50 and Rs 97.00 per kg, respectively.

Following are today's quotations per kg:

LD No 40 - 95.50, LD No 400 - 97.00, LLDP blowing 80, colour 75, HD Blowing 78, HD moulding (deshi) 80, HD moulding (colour) 87.00, PP No 100 - 82, PP Colour 103
