Low density polymers up on increased offtake

Low density polymer prices inched up by paise 50 per kg in the local plastic market today on increased offtake from plastic bag makers.

Traders said increased offtake from plastic bag manufacturers against restricted arrivals, helped the low density polymer prices to trade marginally higher.

LD No 40 and LD No 400 were up by Rs 0.50 each to Rs 87.50 and Rs 89.50 per kg, respectively. Following are today's quotations in Rs per kg:

LD No 40 - 87.50, LD No 400 - 89.50 LLDP blowing 80, colour 75.00 HD Blowing 78.00, HD moulding (deshi) 78, HD moulding (colour) 85.00, PP No 100 - 82, PP Colour 103, ABS (Indian) 100, acrylic 110-120 colour 120-125, crystal (Indian) 70, colour 82
