Non-ferrous metals had a lukewarm week in domestic trade following the London Metals Exchange (LME). Nickel indicated some gains, along with copper, lead and tin. Aluminium remained flat in local trade. |
Nickel cathodes closed at Rs 760 per kilogram on Monday, up by Rs 5 from last week's close of Rs 755. |
It's price fell to Rs 745 on Wednesday, after which it rose back to Rs 752 on Friday and Rs 760 on Saturday. |
Copper wire bars was up by Rs 1 from last week at Rs 180. Copper heavy scraps closed at Rs 164 up from Rs 161 last week. Copper utensil scraps ended trade at Rs 143.50 from Rs 140.50 last Monday. |
Brass utensil scraps closed at Rs 109 , a rise from from last Monday's Rs 108.50. Brass sheet cutting closed at Rs 113 the same as last week. Aluminium utensil scraps closed at Rs 83 the same as last week. |
Lead ingots closed at Rs 51.50 higher by Rs 1.50 from last week. Aluminium ingots remained constant at Rs 105 all of last week. |
Zinc slabs closed at Rs 70 slightly up from last week. |
Tin slabs closed at Rs 520 from last week's Rs 515. The price fell to Rs 510 on Wednesday before rising the next day to Rs 518. |
