Lupin ascends 2% post FDA nod

Lupin increases 2% after receiving FDA approval for generic Solodyn tablets.

Solodyn is an oral antibiotic approved to treat only the red, pus-filled pimples of moderate to severe acne in patients 12 years of age and above.

In intra-day deals, the stock opened at Rs 461 and touched the high of Rs 474. The counter has seen trades around 125,000 shares so far on the BSE and NSE.
